MIKAELA WINTER


Associate,​ Mikaela Winter was research lead, principle project coordinator, writer, editor, and presenter for the Seattle Sustainable Neighborhoods Assessment Project (SSNAP). Mikaela  is drawn to the interdisciplinary and innovative problem solving components of sustainability and environmental issues. Mikaela brings strong analytical research and writing skills, a comprehensive understanding of sustainability, collaboration, and a passion for engaging in innovative and challenging work. Her experience includes project management, sustainability reporting, policy analysis, data analysis, indicator research and development, community engagement, and comprehensive planning. 


Mikaela holds a BA in Environmental Studies from the University of Washington where she focused her studies on sustainability assessment, reporting and corporate social responsibility. Mikaela has also participated in the conversation of sustainability internationally during her semester abroad at the University of Melbourne, where she expanded her knowledge of sustainable development across many scales and in different cultures.
